For those of you who actually check my blog occasionally, I want to explain the 3rd term grades. I was not at school on the last day of the term due to a family crisis. This is not something that was planned and it was certainly unexpected. Unfortunately for all of my classes except Spanish 3 & 4, the binders that you turned in on Wednesday were not put on the 3rd term. The reason being that the binders were at school and I was not. When I returned today (first day of the 4th term) I graded the binders and they will be the first grade for the 4th term. I realize that some of you were counting on a high binder grade to boost your overall average, but this is a situation that couldn't be helped. My advice to those of you hoping for a higher grade is this: don't wait until the very last minute to be concerned with your grades!! Study and do your best all the time, and the end result will be your reward! Also, extra credit is okay, but it should never be counted on as part of your grade. Besides, extra credit only helps you if you have a lot of it and you are borderline between 2 grades.
